Watch: Macron's face gets pushed away by hand in Vietnam

Video of Emmanuel Macron’s arrival in Vietnam on Sunday (May 25) showed the French president being pushed sharply in the face seconds before he was due to step off the plane.

The sequence, shot by Reuters, shows Macron standing in the entrance of the French presidency jet, which had just arrived in Hanoi.

A hand in a red outfit can be seen making contact with Macron's face, which moves up and to the left. He appears to notice he can be seen inside the aircraft and waves.

Moments later he walks down the steps accompanied by his wife Brigitte, 72.
