Judge blocks Trump’s executive order ending support for DEI programmes

A federal judge has largely blocked a sweeping executive order from President Donald Trump that sought to end government support for programmes promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

US District Judge Adam Abelson in Baltimore granted a preliminary injunction blocking the administration from terminating or changing federal contracts they consider equity-related.
