The head of Russia’s nuclear protection forces has been killed by a bomb in Moscow, Russian officials say.

Igor Kirillov and his assistant were both killed early on Tuesday by an explosive device planted close to a residential block of flats in the Russian capital, the country’s investigative committee said.
