Gunman who killed healthcare boss has fled New York, says police chief

The gunman who killed the chief executive of the largest US health insurer may have fled the city on a bus, New York City police officials told CNN on Friday.

Video of the gunman leaving the scene of Wednesday’s shooting of UnitedHealthcare boss Brian Thompson showed him riding a bicycle to Central Park and later taking a taxi to a bus depot, Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny told CNN.
