Ceasefire talks end, says Hamas, as Israel vows military operation soon

The latest round of Gaza ceasefire talks ended in Cairo after “in-depth and serious discussions,” the Hamas militant group said on Sunday, reiterating key demands that Israel again rejected.

After signs of progress, the outlook appeared to dim.
