Zelenskyy visits neighbouring Romania to discuss security and boost ties

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to neighbouring Romania on Tuesday for talks with his counterpart on regional security and strengthening bilateral ties against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of his country.
Mr Zelenskyy met with President Klaus Iohannis in the capital, Bucharest. The two are also expected to discuss security co-operation in the Black Sea region, Mr Zelenskyy said on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
