A 24-hour ceasefire reportedly reached between Sudan’s rival generals has gone into effect on the fourth day of heavy fighting.
The truce, reported by several Arab media outlets, was to begin Tuesday at 6pm local time, but heavy fighting raged up until then and it was unclear whether it would hold.
