US house speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband ‘assaulted during house break-in’

Paul Pelosi, the husband of US house speaker Nancy Pelosi, is being treated in hospital after he was severely beaten during a break-in at their San Francisco home, officials said.

The 82-year-old suffered blunt force injuries in the attack, according to two sources.
