Texas elementary school where 21 were killed to be demolished

The elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, where a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers last month will be demolished, the city's mayor said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Texas state police pronounced the law enforcement response to the Uvalde school shooting an “abject failure,” telling politicians that there were enough officers and firepower on the scene to have stopped the gunman three minutes after he entered the building.
