British government unable to show evidence Rwanda policy will cut Channel crossings
The Home Office could not offer modelling to show that the Rwanda policy would cut the number of people attempting to cross the Channel to Britain (Gareth Fuller/PA)
A Home Office minister in Britain was unable to point to any calculations that the British government’s Rwanda relocation policy will reduce the number of people arriving in the country via small boats.
