Boris Johnson claims partygate scandal matters little to voters

Boris Johnson has suggested the partygate scandal matters little to voters and vowed to fight the next election no matter how many times he is fined for breaching Covid laws.

The British prime minister will be on an official trip to India when a Labour-led motion calling for a Commons investigation into whether he lied to Parliament takes place on Thursday.
