European countries condemned for failing to send Covid vaccines to Africa

The African Union special envoy tasked with leading efforts to procure Covid-19 vaccines for the continent has criticised European countries as Africa struggles to deal with a third surge in infections.

Strive Masiyiwa said that “not one dose, not one vial, has left a European factory for Africa”.
