Johnson: Tighter border measures could cut Britain off from the world

Britain risks being “cut off from the rest of the world” if border measures are tightened even further beyond the new quarantine plan, Boris Johnson has claimed.

The British prime minister urged Labour to get behind the latest measures, which come into effect from Monday and include up to 10 years in prison for people who try to evade the rules in England.
