Ocean sediments reveal changes in Earth’s climate over 66 million years

Scientists have uncovered how the Earth’s climate has changed over 66 million years by analysing ocean sediments.

According to the team, the findings reveal four distinctive climate states dubbed hothouse, warmhouse, coolhouse and icehouse.
