Donald Trump releases list of 20 potential Supreme Court nominees

US President Donald Trump has given a list of potential Supreme Court justices, a move seen as a strategy to shore up support ahead of November’s election.

Among the list were a trio of Republican senators – Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley – who Mr Trump said he would choose from were there vacancies to fill.
