UK negotiators told they must not ‘surrender’ to EU over fishing in Brexit talks

The UK's Fisheries Bill, if passed, will ban foreign fishing boats from fishing in UK waters unless licensed to do so.

Britain must “not surrender” to the EU over fishing access as Brexit talks reach crunch point, ministers there have been told.

British politicians heard fishers are optimistic about the end of the transition period at the end of December and they want the UK to rebuff the demands of Brussels.
