Hawaii releases edited recording of false missile alert drill

An audio recording has been released of the drill the US state of Hawaii was running in January when an employee mistakenly sent mobile phone and broadcast alerts warning of a ballistic missile attack.

But the 24-second recording the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency released was heavily redacted.
