British child rapist on the run after sex offences conviction

UK police are hunting for a convicted rapist who went on the run after being found guilty of a series of "sickening and gravely serious" sexual offences against a young girl.

David Hart, 60, was not present at Swansea Crown Court yesterday when a jury found him guilty of 12 counts of raping the child, two of indecently assaulting her, one of assault by penetration and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
