Former foreign secretary William Hague says threatening North Korea with "fire and fury" will not deter Kim Jong Un from continuing with his nuclear programme.

Writing in the Telegraph, Mr Hague refuted US president Donald Trump's claims that "talking is not the answer", and said the East and West should work together to defuse the threat.
