Canadian tourist among five killed in Jordan shootings

Four members of the security forces and a Canadian tourist have been killed in a series of shootings in central Jordan.

The attacks, including at a Crusader castle popular with tourists, are the latest in a series of incidents that have challenged the pro-Western kingdom's claim to be an oasis of calm in a region threatened by Islamic extremists.
