No respite for UK as heavy rain continues in wake of Storm Angus

Heavy rain continued to lash Britain in the wake of Storm Angus causing flooding and travel chaos across parts of the country.

As torrential rain lashed many parts of the UK on Monday roads were closed, schools shut, and floodwater submerged cars and blocked railway lines seeing many services cancelled.
