Cannabis factory hit by arson attack in the UK
Detectives in England are appealing for witnesses after a suspected arson attack on a cannabis factory.
The blaze ripped through a semi-detached house in Lewisham, south-east London, after an accelerant was used to start the fire.
Police were called by the London Fire Brigade to the address in Ashdale Road at 10.05am on Sunday.
Following a search of the property they discovered the premises was being used as a cannabis factory.
No injuries were reported and the incident is being treated as arson.
A white man, around 6ft tall, with dark hair and wearing a pink top, was seen running away from the house moments before the fire took hold.
A white Mercedes delivery van was also seen outside the address before the incident.
