Russia and Syria halt Aleppo bombing raids

Russian and Syrian war planes are halting air strikes on the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo, Russia has announced.

Moscow's defence minister has announced the two countries' air forces have paused operations ahead of a short truce on Thursday.
