Caroline Aherne's brother slams ex-husband over abuse claims

Caroline Aherne's brother has slammed her ex-husband Peter Hook as "that excuse of a man" after he claimed she abused him during their relationship.

Patrick Aherne said he was "disgusted" at the New Order and Joy Division musician for writing that the comedian put cigarettes out on his arm and lunged at him with a knife in his new autobiography.
