Colombians reject Farc deal in shock referendum result

Colombians have rejected a peace deal with leftist rebels which sought to bring an end to half a century of hostilities.

Instead of winning by an almost two-to-one margin as pre-election polls had predicted, those favouring the accord with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc) lost by a razor-thin margin - 49.8% to 50.2%.
