Police on standby as protesters gather at Charlotte stadium

A group of around 100 demonstrators have gathered near the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte to protest over the shooting death of a man by a police officer.

The protesters, holding signs and led by a man on a bullhorn, were surrounded by at least two dozen police officers on bicycles on Sunday afternoon.
