Turkey opts out of turning clocks back an hour in the autumn

Turkey has decided it will no longer follow daylight saving time (DST) and will not turn back clocks by an hour in the autumn.

An announcement in the official government gazette today said the country will not push clocks back on October 30 for the winter period.
