Bomb squad examines car at Australian police station

A bomb squad is examining a car that was driven into a car park at a police station in Sydney.

The driver of the car has been arrested, and the area around the station has been cordoned off as a precaution.

New South Wales police said they are investigating why the man was at the station, in the western suburb of Merrylands.

No other information has been released.
