Two Turkish opposition journalists have been jailed for two years for publishing French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo's controversial cover featuring a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed.

The state-run Anadolu Agency said an Istanbul court convicted Cumhuriyet newspaper columnists Ceyda Karan and Hikmet Cetinkaya of stirring up "hatred and enmity".
