Thief steals ambulance sat-nav as crew tend patient on Christmas Day

A satellite navigation system was stolen from an ambulance in England on Christmas Day while the crew were looking after a patient.

East Midlands Ambulance Service said the theft, which took place on Friday night in Daventry, Northamptonshire, has been reported to police.

They tweeted: “It is a crucial piece of equipment to help crews navigate.

The navigation system was taken between 10pm and 11.30pm, East Midlands Ambulance Service added.
