Woman wounded in stabbing at Florida nudist resort

Authorities are investigating a stabbing that wounded a woman at a Florida nudist resort.

Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue crews were called to the Sunsport Gardens resort in Loxahatchee and a woman was treated at the scene then flown to hospital.

The resort’s general manager, Morley Schloss, said the 18-year-old woman was walking on a nature trail when she was stabbed multiple times by an unknown person.

Mr Schloss said police are searching the area with dogs.

The resort is partially surrounded by densely wooded areas, about 60 miles north of Miami.

Mr Schloss said the woman was not seriously injured and expects to be released from the hospital later.
