Arrested man in hospital after armed siege at Bristol house

A stand-off involving armed police ended peacefully after more than 24 hours following the arrest of a man.

Trained negotiators had been speaking with a man inside a house in Park Road, in the Stapleton area of Bristol, since Thursday night.
