Palestinian shot dead in Jerusalem after stabbing Israeli officer

A Palestinian man has been shot dead by security forcesafter he stabbed a police officer in Jerusalem.

Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri says the Palestinian attacked the police officer near a gate into the Old City, moderately wounding him.
