Three arrested in US charged with 'breathtaking' hack
Three men have been charged in the US in what prosecutors call a "breathtaking" hack of JPMorgan and other major financial companies, in a scheme that netted hundreds of millions of dollars.
They face 23 counts over crimes targeting 12 firms.
US attorney Preet Bharara has said the enterprise dated from 2007, and the personal information belonging to more than 100 million people was accessed.
US prosecutors have said they are expanding charges against all three men to include computer hacking and identity theft as well as 21 other charges.
Two of the men are understood to be in custody in Israel while the third man is a fugitive.
