World War 2 bomb found in Berlin

Berlin's Jewish Museum - along with parts of the Underground system - have had to be closed as authorities work to remove a World War 2 bomb found in the vicinity.

The 250-kilo American device was unearthed during construction work in the German capital on Friday.

The device weighs 550 pounds.

11,000 residents living in the area had to be evacuated as a safety precaution.

Bombs of that size cause significant damage, even under controlled explosions.
