Gunfight at US consulate follows bomb attack on Turkish police station

Two gunmen have opened fire at the US Consulate building in Istanbul, sparking a gunfight with police, Turkish media reports said.

No one was hurt in the attack and the gunmen managed to escape, the private Dogan news agency reported.
