A bus travelling from Ukraine to Warsaw in Poland has crashed, killing five people and injuring more than two dozen others.

Polish police spokesman Marek Kapusta said the driver probably fell asleep behind the wheel, causing the bus to cross into the opposite lane before landing in a ditch and hitting a tree near the village of Gorzno-Kolonia, about 47 miles south-east of Warsaw.
