Two dead, three injured in US shooting rampage

In the US, a former convict has shot two people dead and injured three during a rampage across a number of towns in northern Maine.

Guns were stolen before the shootings began in three different communities.

Investigators say the suspect, 35-year-old Anthony Lord, was arrested at a family member's home.

Lord has a criminal record that includes convictions for a sex crime and domestic assault.
