Arrest made after man 'tried to sell baby to a stranger'

UK police have arrested a man on suspicion of child neglect following reports that a person tried to sell a baby in a shopping arcade.

A member of the public said they were approached by a man with a three-month-old baby boy in a pram at Manchester’s Barton Arcade at 2.30pm today.
