Two held in Nemtsov murder probe

Two suspects have been detained over the murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, the head of Russia’s federal security service has said.

Alexander Bortnikov made the statement on state television today, but did not give further details.

It was not clear if either of the suspects was believed to have fired the shots that killed Mr Nemtsov as he walked over a bridge with a companion near the Kremlin in Moscow on February 28.
