US forecasters have warned of the threat of floods after a massive seven feet of snow fell in the Buffalo area of western New York state, killing at least 12 people.

US forecasters have warned of the threat of floods after a massive seven feet of snow fell in the Buffalo area of western New York state, killing at least 12 people.

After the three-day onslaught the sun came out but it was followed by predictions of flooding caused by rain, temperatures of up to 60F and blocked drainage systems.
