An engineer is missing after a train plunged into a river after derailing on Quebec’s North Shore, a Canadian iron ore manufacturer has said.

An engineer is missing after a train plunged into a river after derailing on Quebec’s North Shore, a Canadian iron ore manufacturer has said.

The Iron Ore Company said the engineer was the only person on board the freight train which was transporting empty cars. The train’s locomotive is partially submerged in the Moisie River.
