23 trapped in collapsed Turkish mine

A coal mine in southern Turkey has collapsed, trapping 23 workers inside.

State-run TRT television said the incident occurred in the town of Ermenek, in Karaman province, and eight other miners were quickly rescued. Other reports from the scene said rescue teams are trying to pull out the trapped miners.
