Typhoon kills 10 and forces hundreds of thousands from homes

At least ten people have been killed, and around 370,000 have been forced from their homes, after a typhoon struck the Philippines.

The storm brought down trees and power lines, causing widespread blackouts and closing major roads because of debris.

Typhoon Rammasun is the strongest storm to hit the country this year and it is now heading west into the South China Sea.
