Typhoon kills 10 and forces hundreds of thousands from homes

At least ten people have been killed, and around 370,000 have been forced from their homes, after a typhoon struck the Philippines.

The storm brought down trees and power lines, causing widespread blackouts and closing major roads because of debris.
