A typhoon has blasted through the northern Philippines, leaving at least 38 people dead and forcing more than half a million to flee its wind and rain.

At least ten people have been killed, and around 370,000 have been forced from their homes, after a typhoon struck the Philippines.

At least four people died today after a tropical storm hit South Korea, causing floods and landslides.
