Putin meets new Ukrainian leader

Ukraine’s incoming president spoke briefly with Russian president Vladimir Putin after world leaders gathered at D-Day commemoration ceremonies in Normandy.

President-elect Petro Poroshenko, Mr Putin and German chancellor Angela Merkel chatted for a while following a photocall.
