Father puts children in bags to cross flooded river
This father swims across a flooded river with his children in plastic bags.
The inventive dad thought up a unique way of transporting his kids to their school at a village in Vietnam following the flooding of rivers which blocked their usual path.
Not wanting his children to go to school with wet uniforms, he decided to place each of them in a giant plastic bag and then swim across with them protected by the material.
Since his method proved to be so effective he's now helping other pupils and even teachers make their way to work.
A teacher at the unidentified school, Tong Thi Minh, said: "It's normal. It's the only way to cross the stream because no bridge can stand floodwater. It is one way to keep their school uniforms clean and dry."
