Vatican creates Finance Ministry to oversee economy

Pope Francis has created a new Finance Ministry to oversee the Vatican's economic affairs.

It is the pontiff's first decisive action in the wake of scandals at the Vatican Bank.

The ministry will be led by Australian Cardinal George Pell, and will prepare the Holy See's annual Budget as well as financial controls.
