EU foreign ministers called to extraordinary meeting over Ukraine
The European Union is calling an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers to decide the 28-nation bloc’s reaction including possible sanctions to the recent escalation of violence in Ukraine.
European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso said he expects the EU to adopt “targeted measures against those responsible for violence and use of excessive force”.
