Bangladesh opposition chief hanged

Bangladesh has executed an opposition leader convicted of war crimes hours after the Supreme Court rejected a last-minute appeal.

An intelligence official says the hanging of Abdul Quader Mollah took place tonight in a jail in Dhaka.
